SPBA considers it important that you are aware of the processing of your personal data within our company. You are therefore advised to read this privacy statement carefully.

This privacy statement explains how SPBA handles the processing of personal data. For example, it indicates which (categories of) personal data are collected and for what purpose the personal data are used. SPBA also indicates which legal basis is the basis for the processing of personal data.

This privacy statement applies to all SPBA customers.

The processing of personal data by SPBA falls within the statutory exemption regulations. For this reason, the processing is not registered with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Legal basis and purpose for the processing of personal data
The legal basis for collecting the personal data is: (I) The processing is necessary for the execution of the agreement. (II) Processing is necessary to comply with the legal obligations on the company. If you do not wish to provide any (personal) data to SPBA, SPBA is unable to provide services to you. As a result, it is possible that SPBA can not meet the contractual, legal and necessary obligations. Possible adverse consequences due to the non-provision of personal data are in this case with you. If you are prepared to provide only information about the car, payments can only be made in cash / by debit card payment.

Types of personal data and storage period
Your personal data will only be processed if you wish to make use of the services of SPBA.
The necessary information is name and address details, e-mail address, telephone number and details about the car (chassis number, registration number, and mileage). The e-mail address is necessary for maintaining contact and for sending important information, such as your invoice.
The details of the car are required in view of the fact that we are legally obliged to register the mileage of cars at the RDW of all cars offered for repair from an amount of € 150, – including VAT to repair costs.
The personal data are stored for a maximum period of 7 years.

Transfer to third parties
Personal data are processed by companies that have been engaged by SPBA to execute the agreement or otherwise perform work for SPBA. You can think of the accountant of SPBA. Your personal data will also be shared with third parties if SPBA is obliged to pass on your personal data to competent authorities on the basis of a legal obligation.

Security
SPBA has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing.
Encryption of you personal information is an example of such a measure.

Your privacy rights
Data that is no longer needed is removed. You have the right to inspect, rectify, delete or limit the processing of your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation. To prevent misuse and / or fraud, we will always ask you to identify yourself. If you want to view and / or change the information provided by you, you can send an e-mail to administratie@spba.nl.

Complaints
If you wish to submit a complaint about SPBA with regard to the processing of your personal data, you can report this to us by sending an e-mail to administratie@spba.nl. You can also do this with a supervisory authority (for example the Dutch Data Protection Authority).
